The summer heat and cold winter can damage even the hardiest plants, not to mention a host of foliage damaging insects like mites, aphids, scale, bagworms, webworms and other sucking and chewing insects.

Also diseases problems like the viral leaf spot, powdery mildew, etc. Texas Lawn Hero provide a quality tree and shrub program of timely applications for control of this problems, with contact and systemic fungicides and insecticides plus a properly formulated fertilizer from Plan Health Care (PRODUCTS SPECIFICALLY FORMULATED FOR TREES AND LANDSCAPES) Iron and Super Thrive to promotes green color, bud formation and a vigorous root system.

You will receive six (6) regularly scheduled Tree and Shrub applications through the year.

Tree And Shrub Program Includes:

1. Dormant Oil:

This is an organic spray applied to the landscape plants during the dormant month . This spray helps control many plant pests (scale, aphids, mites, etc.) which can be difficult to get out of the landscape and they can be trouble.

2. Deep Root Feeding:

Roots absorb and transport water and minerals from the soil to the rest of the plants, our deep root feeding application allows plants to leaf out and bloom in a natural manner by providing the energy for flowers to flush and leafing plants to fill in. Additional micro-nutrients included for trace plant nutrients, root stimulation, greening and plant health.

3. Disease Control:

In many cases certain diseases will target a specific type of tree or shrub. In other cases then can be weather related, and when triggered by the weather, they will attack different varieties of plant. With so many types of tree & shrubs that are susceptible to fungus here in Texas, we try to prevent the disease from attacking, by applying contact and systemic disease control products.

4. Early Summer Insecticide And Fungicide:

This application control diseases prone to occur as a result of damp and cool nights in the spring. It will also protect your landscape from damaging insects.

5. Late Summer Application:

Warmer/Hot weather is the most active time for insects. This application will protect your landscape from damage that can be caused by chewing and sucking insects. Fungicide also applied in this application.

At the end of the summer landscape need a good balanced fertilizer to recover from heat, plants will discontinue to top growth or leafy growth, they then start the root growing which is essential for the plants to absorb and store nutrients in their roots during winter. This will also help prevent winter damage.
